What is this study?

The Life Map AI Pilot 2026 is an exploratory, non-clinical online pilot study. Over about four weeks, participants build a personal visual map of their inner world (relationships, hopes, fears, priorities), complete short weekly check-ins, and share reflections on the experience. All data is used in aggregated, anonymised form to improve the platform and inform future academic publications.

Purpose

We want to understand how usable, engaging and personally meaningful a visual self-reflection tool feels to people from different countries, languages, ages and backgrounds. The study is descriptive and exploratory — it is not a clinical trial and does not test a medical intervention.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are comfortable using the app in English, Russian, Ukrainian or Hebrew.
  • You are not currently in crisis or receiving intensive mental-health care where a self-reflection app could interfere.
  • You are willing to complete short weekly check-ins for about 4 weeks.

How the 4 weeks work

  1. 1
    Consent & baseline
Read the informed consent, agree, and complete a short baseline questionnaire.
  2. 2
    Build your Life Map
Create a visual map of the people, feelings and areas of your life.
  3. 3
    Weekly check-ins (×4)
Each week: a short reflection (5–10 minutes) about your experience.
  4. 4
    Final survey & feedback
Overall experience, usefulness, NPS score and optional interview interest.
  5. 5
    Certificate of participation
A digital certificate acknowledging your contribution to the pilot.

Your rights

  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
  • Only anonymised, aggregated data is used in reports and publications.
  • No sensitive personal map content is shared publicly.

Ethics & data protection

Life Map AI follows GDPR-style data-protection principles. Personal identifiers are separated from research data via a non-identifying participant code (e.g. LMA-2026-XXXXXX). The study is exploratory and non-clinical; where required, it is conducted under academic collaboration and independent ethical review.
