An exploratory international study on AI-assisted visual self-reflection.
Help us learn how a visual, AI-assisted map of the inner world supports self-awareness, engagement and personal meaning across cultures and languages.
The Life Map AI Pilot 2026 is an exploratory, non-clinical online pilot study. Over about four weeks, participants build a personal visual map of their inner world (relationships, hopes, fears, priorities), complete short weekly check-ins, and share reflections on the experience. All data is used in aggregated, anonymised form to improve the platform and inform future academic publications.
We want to understand how usable, engaging and personally meaningful a visual self-reflection tool feels to people from different countries, languages, ages and backgrounds. The study is descriptive and exploratory — it is not a clinical trial and does not test a medical intervention.
Life Map AI follows GDPR-style data-protection principles. Personal identifiers are separated from research data via a non-identifying participant code (e.g. LMA-2026-XXXXXX). The study is exploratory and non-clinical; where required, it is conducted under academic collaboration and independent ethical review.
Life Map AI is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment or emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services or a qualified mental-health professional.
