Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Life Map AI is a personal self-reflection tool. This policy explains what data we hold, why we hold it, and how you can remove it.

Age requirement

Life Map AI is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe that a person under 18 has provided personal data, contact support@innerlifemap.com.

Who is responsible

Life Map AI is owned and operated by Anton Borts (Israel), who acts as the controller of personal data processed through the service.

Privacy contact: support@innerlifemap.com

What data we collect

  • Account and sign-in data: your email address and the authentication records created when you sign up or sign in (including sign-in with Google, if you choose it). We never see your Google password.
  • Your content: maps, nodes and labels, written answers, timeline entries, reflections, and the AI analyses generated from them.
  • Usage events: anonymous or account-linked product events such as "map started" or "analysis created", used to understand which features work.
  • Technical data: the information your browser sends with each request (including IP address, which our infrastructure providers process as part of delivering and protecting the service), device type and language preference.
  • Optional features: push notification subscriptions and email reminders, only if you enable them.
  • Payment data (after paid features launch): order and receipt records. Life Map AI never receives or stores your card number.

Guest (private) mode

Some tools can be used without an account. In that mode your content is stored only in your browser on your device and is not sent to our database, except when you explicitly request an AI reflection or choose to save it to an account.

Why we process your data

  • To create your account and keep you signed in.
  • To store and show your maps, reflections and analyses.
  • To generate AI reflections when you ask for them.
  • To send reminders and notifications you have enabled.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and enforce usage limits.
  • To understand aggregate product usage and improve the service.
  • To handle payments, receipts and refunds after paid features launch.

Legal bases (where GDPR or similar law applies)

  • Performance of a contract: providing the account and the features you use.
  • Consent: optional features such as push notifications, email reminders and AI processing you explicitly trigger; you can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests: security, abuse prevention and basic product analytics.
  • Legal obligation: keeping records required for payments and taxes after paid features launch.

Processors and infrastructure

We use a small number of providers to run the service:

  • Lovable — application hosting, managed database, authentication, file storage and email delivery infrastructure used by Life Map AI.
  • Lovable AI Gateway — routes AI requests to the underlying AI model providers when you request an AI reflection.
  • Push delivery: when you enable push notifications, messages are delivered through the push service built into your browser or operating system.
  • Paddle — after paid features launch, Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and processes payment data as an independent party under its own terms and privacy policy.

AI processing

AI reflections are generated only when you request them. The text you submit for that request is sent to the AI provider through the Lovable AI Gateway in order to produce the response, and the response is stored with your content so you can read it later.

AI output may contain errors or inaccuracies. It is not a diagnosis, assessment or professional advice, and you remain the final interpreter of your own map.

International transfers

Our providers operate global infrastructure, so your data may be processed outside your country, including outside the EEA and outside Israel. Where such transfers are regulated, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers in their own data processing terms.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with database access rules that restrict each record to its owner. Administrative access is limited to the owner of the service. No online service can promise absolute security.

How long we keep data

We do not publish fixed retention periods that we cannot guarantee. If you want to know what is stored about you, write to us and we will tell you.

  • Account data and your content: kept until you delete the item or your account.
  • Guest-mode content: kept in your browser until you delete it, clear browser data, or an automatic expiry set inside the tool removes it.
  • Usage events: kept while they remain useful for understanding product usage.
  • Payment and receipt records (after paid features launch): kept as required by applicable accounting and tax rules.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual maps, reflections and sessions inside the app. To delete your whole account and its content, write to support@innerlifemap.com from the email address of the account. We will confirm when deletion is complete. Backups and logs may retain copies for a short period before being overwritten.

Your rights

To exercise any of these rights, write to support@innerlifemap.com. We answer privacy requests as soon as we reasonably can. If you believe your rights are not respected, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent for optional features at any time.
  • Ask us to provide your content in a portable form.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising cookies. We use the storage strictly needed to run the service: an authentication session, a language preference, and local storage that keeps guest-mode content and unfinished sessions on your device. Clearing your browser storage removes the local copies.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new update date. Significant changes affecting your rights will be highlighted in the app.
